Step-by-Step Instructions for Slow Cooker Beef Brisket
  1. Begin by slicing the onions and spreading them evenly at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Carefully position the beef brisket on top of the sliced onions in the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the brisket, making sure to coat it generously.
  5. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to the LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours, or HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
  6. Once the cooking time is complete, carefully remove the brisket from the slow cooker and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
