Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey and Toffee Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and gather your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in flour, vanilla powder, baking powder, and honey or golden syrup to the mixture and stir until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into three equal parts and roll each into a log about 1–1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the logs with ample space between them.
  6. Gently flatten each log to about half an inch thick.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden-brown on the edges.
  8. Remove from oven, cool for a couple of minutes, and cut logs diagonally into slices.
