Preparation Steps

  3. Carefully add the diced potatoes to the hot oil in a single layer. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until golden brown.
  4. While the potatoes are cooking, mix salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl to make the spice blend.
  5. Once potatoes are golden, sprinkle the spice mix over them, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat.
  7. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the potatoes, tossing gently to combine.
  8. Plate the spiced potatoes, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve immediately.
