Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  2. Brown the Meat: Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned. Stir in tomato puree and red wine, reduce for 3 minutes.
  3. Build the Sauce: Add tomato passata, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, and sugar. Simmer for 25 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Bread Bowls: Cut tops off rolls and hollow insides to create bowls.
