Cooking Instructions
- Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it's al dente, about 4-5 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Mix in the Alfredo sauce, ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese, and a beaten egg.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or oil.
- Take a spoonful of the pasta mixture and fill each muffin tin hole, twirling the pasta to create a nest shape. Press gently to compact.
- Place the filled muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned and set.
- While the pasta nests bake, heat your marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the Italian meatballs to the sauce, warming them through for about 5-7 minutes.
- Using toothpicks, skewer a meatball and insert it into the center of each pasta nest. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes
Pack the nests tightly for best results. You can customize with different cheeses and prepare nests ahead of time to freeze.
