Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it's al dente, about 4-5 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Mix in the Alfredo sauce, ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese, and a beaten egg.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or oil.
  3. Take a spoonful of the pasta mixture and fill each muffin tin hole, twirling the pasta to create a nest shape. Press gently to compact.
  4. Place the filled muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned and set.
  5. While the pasta nests bake, heat your marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the Italian meatballs to the sauce, warming them through for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Using toothpicks, skewer a meatball and insert it into the center of each pasta nest. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top and garnish with fresh basil.
