- In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes until well-integrated.
- Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute until shimmering.
- Shape the beef mixture into 4 evenly-sized patties, about ¾-inch thick. Carefully place the patties into the hot skillet.
- Cook them for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and no longer pink in the center.
- Reduce the heat to low. In a separate bowl, whisk the brown gravy mix with hot water until smooth. Stir in additional ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the gravy mixture over the patties in the skillet and allow it to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the patties warm with gravy poured generously on top.
