Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 lb Shrimp Fresh or thawed frozen
  • 1 cup Lump Crab Meat Fresh preferred
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Monterey Jack can be substituted
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Full-fat yields the best texture
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard works as a substitute
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning Cajun seasoning can be used
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can also be used
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper White pepper can be a substitute
For the Biscuit Dough
  • 1 tube Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Any brand or homemade
  • 2 tbsp Butter For brushing on top
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chives can be used as a substitute

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, lump crab meat, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated biscuit dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the seafood filling into the center of each biscuit circle.
  5. Fold the biscuit dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, pressing the edges to seal.
  6. Arrange the filled biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley.
