- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow puff pastry to thaw for about 20 minutes at room temperature.
- In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, artichokes, Parmesan, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Cut puff pastry in half lengthwise to create two rectangles.
- Spread half of the filling over one half of the pastry; place the other half on top and press to seal.
- Cut the pastry into six strips and twist each strip to form a spiral.
- Beat the egg with a splash of water to create an egg wash and brush the tops of each swirl.
- Bake swirls on a lined baking sheet for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving them warm.
