  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise

  • Salt To taste

  • Red Pepper Flakes To taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow puff pastry to thaw for about 20 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, artichokes, Parmesan, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  3. Cut puff pastry in half lengthwise to create two rectangles.
  4. Spread half of the filling over one half of the pastry; place the other half on top and press to seal.
  5. Cut the pastry into six strips and twist each strip to form a spiral.
  6. Beat the egg with a splash of water to create an egg wash and brush the tops of each swirl.
  7. Bake swirls on a lined baking sheet for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving them warm.
