Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare a large piece of plastic wrap on your countertop, ensuring it’s wide enough to hold your ingredients.
  2. Overlap the thinly sliced cold smoked salmon to form a rectangle about 6 inches wide by 12 inches long.
  3. Spread the 1/3 less fat cream cheese evenly over the overlapping salmon slices.
  4. Position cucumber matchsticks ½ inch from one side of the rectangle.
  5. Using plastic wrap, carefully lift the edge and begin rolling tightly away from you.
  6. After chilling, unwrap and slice the roll into ½-inch thick slices, and garnish with chopped onion and capers.
