- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it up as it browns and releases its juices.
- Push the beef to one side of the skillet and drizzle a bit of oil into the empty space. Add the finely chopped yellow onion and minced garlic, seasoning with a pinch of salt. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until the onions become translucent.
- Once the onion is tender, pour in the fire-roasted diced tomatoes along with the Better Than Bouillon beef stock and optional tomato paste. Stir and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped green cabbage, mixing it into the beef and tomato mixture. Cover the skillet and let it cook for approximately 15–20 minutes.
