Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a plate to cool.

  3. Trim the crusts off the bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thick.
