  • Wooden Spoon
  • Plastic wrap
  • Parchment Paper
  • Pizza Stone
  • Oven-proof bowl

Method

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of instant yeast until evenly combined.
  2. Gradually pour in 1½ cups of warm water into the dry ingredients, mixing until a sticky, shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for about 2 to 3 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  4. Sprinkle a clean surface with flour and gently turn the dough out, folding it over itself to create a ball shape.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F and place a pizza stone in the center to heat for 45 minutes.
  6. Carefully slide the shaped dough onto the preheated pizza stone and bake for about 30 to 45 minutes until done.
  7. Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing into it.

Notes

Keep the dough sticky, use steam for a crispy crust, and resist slicing the bread immediately after baking for best texture.
