  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 large Egg optional binder
  • 1 cup Cheese shredded, optional for topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the cabbage by slicing into thick rounds.
  2. Brush both sides of the cabbage slices with olive oil and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef or turkey, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into patties that match the size of the cabbage slices.
  5. Place the patties on top of the cabbage rounds on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, checking for a golden-brown color and an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  7. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last 3 to 5 minutes and broil until melted.
  8. Once done, cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
