  • 8 oz Penne Pasta or any pasta of choice
  • 1 lb Sausage Italian or Cajun sausage
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream for creaminess
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth low sodium recommended
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper diced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and cook the sausage until browned.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. Add pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the pot. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and sauce has thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
