Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, pour 1 cup of water or low-sodium broth and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling, add 1/2 cup of rinsed quinoa to the saucepan, stirring gently to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 12 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat without lifting the lid. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the cooked quinoa into a blender. Puree for about 2 minutes or pulse for 1 minute for chunkier consistency. Add extra liquid as needed.
  5. Allow the quinoa baby cereal to cool down before serving. Pour leftovers into an ice cube tray and freeze portions.
