- In a small saucepan, pour 1 cup of water or low-sodium broth and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, add 1/2 cup of rinsed quinoa to the saucepan, stirring gently to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 12 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat without lifting the lid. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the cooked quinoa into a blender. Puree for about 2 minutes or pulse for 1 minute for chunkier consistency. Add extra liquid as needed.
- Allow the quinoa baby cereal to cool down before serving. Pour leftovers into an ice cube tray and freeze portions.
