Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 6-mold donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, light brown sugar, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix the sour cream, melted butter, egg, and granulated sugar.
  5. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  6. Fill each mold of the donut pan about 3/4 full with batter.
  7. Sprinkle the chilled crumb topping over the batter in each mold.
  8. Bake for 10-11 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool the donuts for 10 minutes before releasing them onto a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together the glaze ingredients until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled donuts and let set.
