Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. If using large carrots, peel and cut them into sticks about 1/2 inch wide; leave baby carrots whole.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, pure maple syrup, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. Toss the prepared carrots in the bowl with the glaze until they are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the coated carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast the carrots for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
