  • 2 tablespoons Green Onion Chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the braising liquid by whisking together soy sauce, mirin, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, water, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to boil with a splash of vinegar. Add washed baby potatoes and cook for 12-15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with vegetable oil. Fry the cooked baby potatoes for about 4 minutes, turning them until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Pour the braising liquid over the golden potatoes in the skillet. Toss gently to coat and let simmer for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve warm or at room temperature.
