Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat and adding a splash of olive oil until it's shimmering.
  2. Add your ground beef to the hot skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spatula as it cooks for about 6–8 minutes until browned.
  3. Push the beef to one side and add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets and let them absorb the flavors for a minute or two.
  5. Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 5–7 minutes, allowing the broccoli to tenderize.
  7. Lower the heat, pour in the heavy cream, and stir until it melds with the meat and vegetables.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture, cover, and cook for 2–3 minutes until melted.
  9. If desired, drizzle in Worcestershire sauce and add red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
