Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, melted unsalted butter, and 1 egg. Stir until a soft dough forms, then press into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 2 eggs and vanilla extract, then gradually incorporate melted butter and sifted powdered sugar until creamy.
  4. Carefully pour the filling mixture over the crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly gooey.
  6. Allow to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and cutting into squares. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
