- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated apple, softened butter, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until well incorporated and set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Slice the pastry in half lengthwise.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly on one half of the pastry strip. Fold the other half over and press down to seal.
- Slice the layered pastry into six equal strips and twist each strip 4-5 times.
- Arrange the twisted strips on a lined baking sheet, shaping them into circular forms. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
