- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
- Brush the pastry with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar evenly.
- Slice the pastry into 1-inch wide strips and twist each strip several times.
- Optionally brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
