Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Salted Honey Pie
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and chill the pie crust for 30 minutes. Blind bake with weights for 12–15 minutes, then bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar until smooth. Add cornmeal, salt, vinegar, vanilla, and honey; whisk until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring until velvety.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour filling into the crust and bake for 40–50 minutes until the edges are set.
  5. Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle flaky sea salt on the pie for garnish.
