Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and a light dusting of cornmeal.
- Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a rectangle measuring approximately 4x6 inches.
- Place a stick of shredded mozzarella cheese at one end of each rectangle and roll tightly, sealing the edges.
- Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
- While baking, melt unsalted butter and combine with minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter over the warm cheese sticks after baking and sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
- Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
