Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add 4 cups marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Stir in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 cup of apple pie filling or diced apples into the melted marshmallow mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal until coated.
  4. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and transfer the mixture, pressing it down firmly.
  5. Drizzle ½ cup of caramel sauce over the top and let sit for 1 minute.
  6. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, then cut into square pieces.
