Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl and stir in the melted butter.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the batter, then fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl to make the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan and smooth it out.
  7. Sprinkle three-quarters of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the first layer of batter.
  8. Carefully spoon the rest of the banana batter on top of the cinnamon-sugar layer.
  9. Use a knife or skewer to create a swirl in the batter.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  12. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
