Step-by-Step Instructions for Ina Garten Pesto Pasta Salad
  1. In large pots, bring salted water to a rolling boil and cook fusilli or bow-tie pasta for 10–12 minutes until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil to cool.
  2. In a food processor, combine pesto, drained spinach, lemon juice, and mayonnaise. Pulse until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Combine the cooled pasta with the pesto sauce, Parmesan cheese, thawed peas, and pine nuts. Gently fold together.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
