  • 4 cups Filtered water Use filtered water for a clean taste.
  • 1 stick Cinnamon bark Adds a warm flavor.
  • 2-3 teaspoons Green tea Loose leaves or bags based on preference.
For the Flavor Boost
  • 1-2 teaspoons Turmeric Fresh or powdered.
  • 1 pinch Black pepper Essential for turmeric absorption.
For Sweetening & Serving
  • 2 tablespoons Organic raw honey Swap with maple syrup or stevia for vegan.
  • 6 leaves Fresh mint leaves For garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pour in about four cups of filtered water and add a cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add 2-3 teaspoons of loose green tea or 2-3 tea bags and steep for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of turmeric, return to low heat, and simmer gently for 1 minute.
  4. Strain into a heatproof pitcher, mix in 2 tablespoons of honey and a pinch of black pepper.
  5. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
