- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it reaches a rectangle of about ¼ inch thick.
- Slice the mozzarella cheese into even strips and lay them across one half of the rolled-out dough.
- Carefully fold the other half of the dough over the cheese, pressing down around the edges to seal.
- Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the sealed dough into 1-inch wide strips.
- Brush the tops of the sliced dough strips with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
