Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add olive oil, all-purpose flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and allow it to rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic and dried herb blend. Mix until well combined.
- Once risen, punch the dough down, roll it into a rectangle, and spread the herb butter.
- Top with shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, and chopped parsley. Roll tightly and seal edges.
- Place rolled dough seam side down in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Remove bread from oven, cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
