  • 3 stalks Green Onions Chopped, both green and white parts
  • 3 cloves Garlic Pressed; fresh is preferred
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce Adjust based on salt sensitivity
  • 2 tablespoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce Coconut aminos as gluten-free alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Light Sesame Oil Regular sesame oil might be too strong
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth Use vegetable broth for vegetarian options
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Dissolve in water to prevent clumping
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar Adjust or omit based on taste

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, chicken broth, cornstarch, and granulated sugar until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Boil water in a pot and add the chow mein noodles, cooking according to package instructions (about 3-5 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a large wok over medium heat, heat cooking oil and add sliced chicken. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add carrots, cabbage, and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until vegetables soften but remain crisp.
  5. Return chicken and noodles to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until well coated.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
