Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the lean ground beef, crumbling it as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes until it's browned and no longer pink. Stir in garlic powder, kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, low sodium soy sauce, and optional sriracha. Cook for another 2 minutes until the flavors meld together, then remove the beef mixture from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil and heat on medium. Once hot, add the shredded Brussels sprouts, seasoning them with a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sprouts are tender and caramelized.
  3. Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet with the sautéed Brussels sprouts. Add the sweet chili sauce and fresh lime juice, stirring everything together for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Once combined, remove the skillet from heat and prepare to serve your delicious Ground Beef and Brussels Sprouts. Spoon the mixture onto plates over rice or your choice of side. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
