Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of softened butter, ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. Set this aside.
  2. Spread the butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread. Layer cheese and turkey cold cuts between slices.
  3. Preheat a nonstick skillet over low heat. Toast the sandwich for 5-6 minutes each side.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, vinegar, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Toss together the lettuce, red onions, and banana peppers with the dressing.
  6. Remove the sandwich, let it sit, slice in half, and load with dressed veggies before serving.
