Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Beef: Cut the beef stew meat into bite-sized pieces, aiming for chunks roughly 1 to 1.5 inches long.
  2. Optional Potato Prep: Parboil halved baby potatoes in salted water for 5-7 minutes, drain and set aside.
  3. Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add beef pieces and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine in the Slow Cooker: Place parboiled baby potatoes and seared beef in the slow cooker, pour garlic butter sauce on top, and add beef broth.
