  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil melted
  • 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips optional

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a food processor, combine the pitted Medjool dates with hot water and blend until a smooth paste forms.
  4. Add melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the date paste and blend until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients in the food processor.
  7. Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan and sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top if desired. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
