Ingredients

For the BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Ketchup Base for the sauce.
  • 1 cup Apple Juice For sweetness and acidity.
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar Adds tanginess.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional for spice.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon Optional for flavor.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Prepare the Ribs: Remove the thin membrane from the back of the beef ribs and trim excess fat.

  4. Prepare the BBQ Sauce: Combine all BBQ sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat.
  5. Set Up the Grill: Preheat grill to 275°F and set up for indirect cooking.
  6. Grill the Ribs: Cook ribs for approximately 2 hours, flipping every 20 minutes.
  7. Add the BBQ Sauce: Brush ribs with BBQ sauce during the last 10-20 minutes of grilling.
  8. Bake for Extra Tenderness: Bake ribs at 325°F for 2 hours covered with foil, then uncover for an additional hour.
  9. Rest and Serve: Let ribs rest for 5-10 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
