- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all equipment: muffin tin, mixing bowl, and cutting board.
- Squeeze out excess moisture from shredded hash browns. Sprinkle with salt. Grease your muffin tin generously.
- Pack about 2 tablespoons of seasoned hash brown mixture into each muffin cup, shaping them into nests.
- Pre-bake the muffin tin in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the hash brown cups are golden and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, crack an egg into each cup, and add preferred toppings.
