Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until fully melted.
  2. Blend Golden Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Freeze for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of whole milk for about 2 minutes until thick.
  5. Fold in one-third of the Cool Whip and the shredded coconut gently.
  6. Pour the filling into the crust, smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with toasted coconut before serving.
