  • 24-26 ounce jar Jarred Marinara Sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 cup Water Necessary for cooking no-boil noodles.
For the Cheese Layers
  • 15 ounce Ricotta Cheese or substitute with cottage cheese.
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Full-fat for best results.
For the Noodles
  • 12 ounce package Lasagna Noodles No-boil type.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce across the bottom of the baking dish. Layer no-boil noodles over the sauce.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cooked ground beef over noodles, followed by dollops of half of the ricotta cheese and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Repeat layering with remaining marinara sauce, noodles, beef, and ricotta. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Pour 1 cup of water around the edges of the dish.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
