Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Sour Cream and Chive Dip
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sour cream and ½ cup of mayonnaise. Whisk until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of onion powder, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Finely chop ¼ cup of chives and fold them into the mixture. Reserve about ½ teaspoon of chopped chives for garnish.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30-60 minutes.
