Step-by-Step Instructions

  4. Crumble feta cheese over the spinach layer and press down gently.
  5. Fold the pastry in half to seal the filling and slice into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip 2-3 times.
  6. Brush each twisted pastry with the beaten egg and sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
