- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the thawed puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Spread chopped fresh spinach over the puff pastry, leaving a half-inch border along the edges.
- Crumble feta cheese over the spinach layer and press down gently.
- Fold the pastry in half to seal the filling and slice into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip 2-3 times.
- Brush each twisted pastry with the beaten egg and sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
