  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste

  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice For flavor
For the Guacamole
  • 1 large Avocado Ripe
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Finely chopped
  • 1 optional Jalapeño Diced, adjust to heat preference
For Assembly
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Whole grain or gluten-free
  • 1 leaf Lettuce Optional
  • 1 slice Tomato Optional

Preparation Steps
  1. Pulse the raw shrimp in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add breadcrumbs, cilantro, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and lime juice. Mix gently.
  3. Form the mixture into 4-6 burger patties.
  4. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat, greasing lightly.
  5. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and opaque.
  6. Mash avocado in a bowl, mixing in onion, jalapeño, salt, and lime juice to prepare the guacamole.
  7. Toast buns if desired. Assemble the burgers with a shrimp patty and guacamole.
  8. Add lettuce and tomato slices if using, and serve immediately.
