  3. Arrange circles on the baking tray and cover with another tray. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.

  5. Whip chilled heavy cream until soft peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
  6. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla, then fold in the whipped cream.
  7. Assemble the cake by layering pastry, cream mixture, berry jam, and mixed berries.
  8. Decorate with remaining cream and powdered sugar before serving.
