Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mash ripe bananas with a fork until smooth (about 1 to 1.5 cups).
  3. Mix in melted butter with the mashed bananas until combined. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, blending until smooth.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt into the banana mixture until evenly incorporated.
  5. Fold in all-purpose flour and crushed Oreos until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Sprinkle reserved crushed Oreos on top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. The top should be golden brown.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
