Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk warm milk, melted butter, egg, and red gel food coloring. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place kneaded dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Allow to rise in a warm area for 1 to 2 hours or until doubled in size. Punch down gently to release air.
- Roll out the dough into a 16x12 inch rectangle on a floured surface. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon and granulated sugar evenly. Roll tightly into a log.
- Slice the rolled log into 12 equal pieces (about 1.5 inches thick). Arrange in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent over-browning.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls and add festive sprinkles.

Notes
Use warm milk to activate yeast properly. Slice rolls with unflavored dental floss for neatness. Allow rolls to cool slightly before glazing to maintain appearance. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume warm for best taste.
