Preparation
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, white vinegar, and red food coloring. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in pureed strawberries and whipped cream.
- Spread cheesecake filling over the cooled cake. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream before serving.
