Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season and Sear the Steak: Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear steak for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden, then let rest.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Flavor the Sauce: Stir in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Add beef broth, deglaze the pan, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  5. Create the Creamy Sauce: Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and add Parmesan cheese until melted and thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
  6. Combine Pasta and Steak: Toss the pasta and sliced steak in the creamy sauce, warming through on low for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve and Garnish: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
