Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with olive oil to prevent chicken from sticking.
  2. Layer Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Add Liquids & Seasonings: Pour marinara sauce and chicken broth over chicken, ensuring it's submerged. Sprinkle with seasonings.
  4. Slow Cook Chicken: Cover and set to LOW for 4 hours until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Shred Chicken: Remove chicken, shred with forks, and return to slow cooker.
  6. Incorporate Tortellini: Add tortellini, mozzarella, and heavy cream, and gently stir to combine.
  7. Cook Tortellini: Cover and cook on LOW for another 30 minutes.
  8. Add Spinach: Stir in spinach, cover, and let it wilt for another 10 minutes.
