Preparation Steps
- Begin by preparing your ingredients. Cube the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Rinse and chop a colorful mix of vegetables such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots.
- In your crockpot, layer the cubed chicken at the bottom. Next, arrange the chopped mixed vegetables on top.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the crockpot. Gently stir to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, checking for doneness.
- Serve the stir-fry over bowls of rice or noodles, garnished as desired.
