Preparation Steps
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 5 minced garlic cloves, ½ cup honey, ½ cup ketchup, ½ cup soy sauce, ½ teaspoon oregano, and 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. Whisk together until the honey has completely dissolved.
- Place the bone-in chicken thighs in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken to ensure it is well-coated.
- Cover the slow cooker, and let the chicken cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until tender.
- For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and let the sauce simmer uncovered on HIGH for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Return the chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with thickened sauce, and garnish with parsley and sesame seeds.

Notes
Consider searing the chicken before cooking to enhance flavor. Adjust the red pepper flakes based on personal spice preference. Store leftovers properly in an airtight container.
