Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 5 minced garlic cloves, ½ cup honey, ½ cup ketchup, ½ cup soy sauce, ½ teaspoon oregano, and 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. Whisk together until the honey has completely dissolved.
  2. Place the bone-in chicken thighs in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken to ensure it is well-coated.
  3. Cover the slow cooker, and let the chicken cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until tender.
  4. For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and let the sauce simmer uncovered on HIGH for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with thickened sauce, and garnish with parsley and sesame seeds.
